LAPORTE - AUTO RABBIT - 110mm

This sporting target was first invented by LAPORTE! It's designed to simulate the trajectory of a rabbit or hare bouncing through hunting trails. It features a special tougher rim to withstand the shock of being thrown and bounced along the ground.

LAPORTE - BATTUE - 108mm

The Battue is a thin, flat target which can be presented as loopers, crossing or quartering targets.

Due to its design, the Battue travels faster through the air, but is less aerodynamically stable than a standard clay target. This means that as the target slows down it rolls into a vertical position and falls rapidly.

LAPORTE - MINI - 60mm

Sometimes called the sparrow or the super bee....the Mini target is often used to create an optical illusion, as they can appear to be farther away than they really are and deceive the shooter into giving them more lead than necessary. This is the smallest size used in Sporting Clays at just 60 mm!

 

These Mini targets are very fast off the arm of the machine, but rapidly lose their momentum because of their lighter overall weight.

LAPORTE - MIDI - 70mm

 

Due to popular demand we are now keeping the 70mm midis in stock! Just like the MINI 60mm and the MIDI 90mm, these targets are often used to create an optical illusion, as they can appear to be farther away than they really are and deceive the shooter into giving them more lead than necessary.

They are faster than the Midi 90 and the Standard target in the early part of their flight, and being the most aerodynamic of the domed clays, they maintain their velocity and flight path better than standard clays. They also slow down later in flight.

LAPORTE - MIDI - 90mm

Used primarily in Sporting Clays, and just like the minis and the 70mm version of the midi targets - the 90mm Midis are often used to create an optical illusion, as they can appear to be farther away than they really are and deceive the shooter into giving them more lead than necessary.

They are faster than the standard target in the early part of their flight. In addition to its smaller diameter, midi clays are shorter too requiring tighter chokes for greater distances. Midis are the most aerodynamic of the domed clays and maintain their velocity and flight path better than the standards clays. They also slow down later in the flight.

The Slim Rabbit is thinner than the Autorabbit. It's also a rolling target that is designed to simulate the trajectory of a rabbit or hare bouncing through hunting trails. 

It features a special tougher rim to withstand the shock of being thrown and bounced along the ground.

The size of the Slim Rabbit is 98mm with a height of 15mm.

 

LAPORTE - ITALIAN RABBIT - 98.5mm

Similar to The Slim Rabbit, the Italian Rabbit is thinner than the Auto Rabbit. It has a different design but it's also a rolling target that is designed to simulate the trajectory of a rabbit or hare bouncing through hunting trails. 

It features a special tougher rim to withstand the shock of being thrown and bounced along the ground.
